The company is continuously providing updates to the devices wherever and whenever necessary. The software update policy announced — three years of OS updates and four years of security patches. As promised, the company delivered the updates. The devices were launched with Android 9 and received Android 10, Android 11, and Android 12. And hope so, that the devices will receive security updates as mentioned. But the users are too eager to know whether the Note 10 series will get the Android 13 update too. Let us discuss the answer below.

Galaxy Note 10 & Note 10+ One UI 5 (Android 13) Status:

  • Unfortunately, the Galaxy Note 10 series will not get another significant update, i.e., Android 13-based One UI 5.

According to the Samsung Update Policy announced in 2020, all the premium devices launched in 2019 will be a part of 3 years of OS Updates and four years of security updates. The Galaxy Note 10 series (Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Note 10 5G, Galaxy Note 10+) have already received the necessary and required updates and will not receive Android 13.

The users of the Galaxy Note 10 series will have to use the devices with the features of Android 12. Fortunately, there is an alternate method to experience Android 13. You can always give a try to the Custom ROMs available. They are always a great solution to a 3-4-year-old smartphone losing its update policy.

The users of the Galaxy Note 10 Lite and the Galaxy S10 Lite are fortunate enough to experience Android 13-based on One UI 5. The smartphones were launched with Android 10-based on One UI 2 and have received two significant updates, namely, Android 11 and Android 12, and as per the announced update policy, they will receive Android 13 soon.

Unfortunately for the Galaxy Note 10 series users, you will not get One UI 5 based on Android 13, and you only have to survive with the current Android 12 features. Or the only solution is you can try Custom ROMs as discussed. They will help you to experience the features available on the current Android 13. Though, you will receive security patch updates for another year.
