Motorola will announce its Motorola Moto Razr 2022 smartphone soon. It will be a clamshell foldable smartphone. For the past couple of months, we have been hearing leaks about Motorola Razr 2022. Now we will talk about its pricing and memory configuration details.
Ahead of the Motorola Razr 2022 launch in the European market, we have managed to get its pricing details from a European retailer listing. As per the listing, the Motorola Razr 2022 8GB+256GB variant will be priced at €1205 (This is significantly cheaper than the Razr 5G 8GB+256GB, which launched at €1399). It will be available in at least Quartz Black colour. The listing also shows that the Razr 2022 will pack a 6.7-inch display. Sadly, the listing does not reveal any other details about the device.
A few days ago, the brand showcased (via GSMArena) the design of the Razr 2022. We can see the device in both unfolded and folded states. It looks like Razr 2022 will feature more rounded corners and a slightly lesser prominent chin than the last generation Razr device. Regarding the overall form factor, Razr 2022 looks similar to its predecessor. It will sport a dual rear camera system and a redesigned hinge.
Talking about the specs, the Moto Razr 2022 is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The phone will pack a 6.7-inch pOLED folding panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The exterior display is said to be a 3-inch panel. In terms of the cameras, the device is said to sport a 50MP primary camera and a 13MP ultra-wide angle camera. The device will likely come with the MyUX flavoured Android 12 OS.
The Razr 2022 could go official in China first, with other markets following shortly afterwards. The Motorola Razr 5G made its global debut in September 2020, while its predecessor debuted in November 2019. So we could see a global release date in September for the Razr 2022, too.
